Rig Positioning Survey Services

        VPG Consulting uses state of the art equipment and systems to move oil/gas drilling rigs.
        Interfaced to Differential Global Positioning Systems (DGPS) and gyro, the rigs position and 
        heading can be tracked in real time. VPG Consulting’s Barge Management System (BMS) and Tug 
        Management System (TMS) are linked using a telemetry system and it allows the tugs/support 
        vessels to be tracked in real time during anchor deployment and recovery.
     
        Using Ultra High Frequency (UHF) telemetry radios, we can monitor vessels remotely, 
        if the oil/gas field is located close to the shore.
